11-07-06, 02:06 AM Ok, I have enough beholder wannabes, Myconoids etc then I know what to do with. What I need are LOADS of commons and not someone's handmedowns off of EBAY. I want legions of Storm/Clone Troopers! Orcs! Goblins! 0 level fighters!

Can you PLEASE release booster packs of these commons that seem to be rarer then some of the rares? I mean, c'mon! When I buy a MtG: core deck, at least I'm guaranteed 5+ of each of the basic lands. Why not so for the minis?

11-07-06, 02:56 AM weird, I was just thinking the same exact thing. I'm collecting mini's of course, but also trying to get doubles and whatnot. I see ALOT of people trying to horde orcs and kobolds. Would it impact collectable sales if WOTC release packs of various creature? I doubt they'd "lose" mini customers, they'd just be buying different stuff. Plus, even though they're not part of a rare/common/uncommon set, I know I'd still buy them as if they were so as to have them all. Then buy them to fill my RPG needs.

If you need a fair amount (30 figure range) you can probably get away with snagging some Warhammer fantasy models off of Ebay or second hand. They tend to have some good detail and are easy enough to chop up some of the dumber elements. They also have a wide variety of figures so you have quite a bit to choose from. The Empire Militia box is great for hordes of poorly armed, near soldiers, state troopers great for military warriors and low level fighters.

There's another company I'm thinking of, but I can't recall the name. If you want sci-fi, try Pig iron productions. They have some great models, but I dunno about prices.

Have you thought about posting in the d&d minis (http://boards1.wizards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=&f=606) forums? You might get more/better help/advice there.

11-07-06, 04:39 AM i just use Skeltions as i seem to see these guys all over the place and just say "These Skelton warrios are Orc Warriors!" Or what ever ...
