03-07-07, 07:34 PM What Int-based bonus languages do Catfolk get? Do they have their own language? If so, what.

03-07-07, 07:40 PM Can't remember off the top of my head but it should be listed in Races of the Wild. If you don't have or want to use that book I'd suggest just creating a language for them and giving them Common as well?

03-07-07, 07:50 PM I need to know the bonus languages as my rogue has a relatively high int. bonus; 2 languages. None in my group, or my DM has Races of the wild.

Which raises the interesting question of: If no one in your group owns RotW, how are playing a Catfolk?

But then, I don't know anybody that actually USES the bonus languages thing, so it doesn't really matter.

You'll also notice that the WizOs don't delete links to it.
Whoever runs it must have pictures of WotC's CEO banging the maid instead of his wife, or something, as I don't see how they stay up if they don't have dirt on SOMEBODY.

I, for one, don't appreciate their questionable legality and make it a point to point it out whenever I can. I hope to discourage use of their site.

03-13-07, 01:16 AM I believe that all D&D material has an open gaming license so i dont think they care, people are still going to by the books. And the site references the books, not like it shows whole pics from the books pages. Its simply quoting the books contents.

Edit: sorry, kinda off topic above... The catfolk gets Common and FELINE as racial languages, and Draconic, Gnoll, Halfling, and Sylvan. I assume Feline is a mix between jibberish and a meow every here and there.

Yes Feline and Common are the racial ones that are in WOTC books and in most people's own versions of CatFolk.

Apparently some on this thread tend to think you have to own every book and have it in front of you at all times. :bored:

Personally if I were to create one of the Catfolk using my own cats as an example I would give the Run-By-Attack as a Freebie to them.

You would be wrong. Most D&D books are not OGL material. Only a handfull of them, all of which are explicitly denotes as such at the beginning of the book, fall under the OGL, and Races of the Wild is not one of them.
