| Flipp2205-14-06, 11:02 PM | I just bought the Dungeons and Dragons basic game today. I checked out the sheets that it came with and they are so simple. Now I see the 3.5 sheets are out and they are too complicated. I don't know half of what to fill out. There are at least twice as many things on it as the original sheet. Can someone please direct me to a website that can help or can someone upload a scan of their character sheet? I would really like to be up to date, but this is way too complicated. Thanks. Also, I have the Players Handbook and the Dungeon Masters Guide and they are both version 3.5 . These do not help at all. |

Version 3.5 sheets aren't anything new, but they can be daunting to a new player. This is probably the easiest v3.5 (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/PHB_v35_charsheet.zip) It's best to have someone walk you through it, but somewhere in the first few pages of the Player's Handbook there should be a numbered guide to character creation. Use that and just go slowly through it. You should be able to find everything on the sheet and in the book. After making a few characters or leveling up a few times, you should find the character sheet is actually very simple. |
