What slang do you use to describe character classes? "Meatstick" or "Tank" for a fighter? "Thief" for a rogue? "Nancy Boy" for a bard? "Healing Battery" for a cleric? What are some of the cleverest names for the classes?

Any beefy melee type (Typically Fighters or Barbs) are Meat-shields.

Spellcasters are Fingerwagglers.

"Tank" for fighters

"Veg-O-Matics" for two-weapon-fighting rangers

"Priests" for clerics (not much difference here...)

I think that's all I can think of....

Anyone who takes Damage, a Tank or meat-shield
Clerics-Priests (Though I got one which can't be posted)
Wizards and Sorcerers-Those who have no hp and should stay in the back line
Druids and Rangers- Very useful Hippies
Paladins- A waste, become a Blackguard
Fighter- Hey you, I need you to kill something
Barbarian-You stand in front of the spellcasters, and stay there!
Bard-Ultimate Support!
Rogue-Thief, person who disappears from plane sight

Let's see. There's "Minstrel" for bard (not too inventive, I know), "Beaters" for fighters/TWF rangers, "Free Action Potion with Legs" for priests, "Self-righteous, egotistical megalomaniacs" for paladins and monks, and "Wavy-hands guys" for spellcasters.

Ah yes ... if you have more than one character with Divine Spellcasting in the party at the same time, they are collectively known as The God Squad.

Ain't that the truth!! Mine's been near death's door about a half dozen times and dead twice! And a friend's in a different game has been nearly dead about once a session (5 times). They shoulda kept that d10 hit die for them as most of ours' get in the thick of combat like a fighter.
