| CharlieRock01-16-07, 11:34 AM | Just fyi: I use this program (http://www.pathguy.com/cg35.htm#top_of_form) mainly for making 'name' NPCs. Generic NPCs I use the NPC Generator (http://www.aarg.net/~minam/npc2.cgi?look=standard&stats_ability_bonuses=0&stats_ac_breakdown=1&stats_init_breakdown=1&stats_attack_breakdown=0&stats_save_breakdown=0&stats_skill_breakdown=0&stats_languages=1&stats_skillsfeats=1&stats_possessions=1&stats_spells=1&stats_formatting=1&stats_skill_points=1&alignment=any&gender=male&race=anycore&class=barbarian&level=2&class2=&level2=any&class3=&level3=any&count=1&scorestrategy=2&seed=) because it is faster and I can stat block it easily (and, yes, I have donated to this site.) This generator is a bit more in-depth and versatile (and ,thusly, time consuming). It runs on Javascript so may be slow to load at times. Neither compare with the options available to you via hero lab (http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?context=hero_lab) (the multiple game systems supported by hero lab alone sold me on it), but they are quite useful in the capacity they were made for. (repeat of post made in digital d&d for those that might miss it otherwise ;)) |
