Two things:

1. Wrong Forum

2. Have you read the Player's Handbook? It explains quite clearly the answers to your questions. If you don't have the PH, you can check the SRD (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35) - It's all there, too.

Just rephrasing the advice Anthus gave you:

Get a Player's Handbook.
And read it.

1. What forum would this go in?

2. I read most of the PHB (Players HandBook) and I dont understand the making character process.

Anyway what I don't understand is simply where you put the hit die type on the page and what you do to make you "Total attack bonus" where your weapon rules are, and (god i hate sounding like an idiot at this but i just got the PH on christmas) do you put the monks Unarmed Attack stats in an "attack rule" slot?

This would go in the "What's a player to do?" forum, I believe.

To answer your questions:

1.You don't put the Hit Die type anywhere on the page. Just your HP.

2.Total Attack Bonus: (And I'm pretty sure it says this in the Combat section of the PH)

Melee weapons = Strength Bonus + Base Attack Bonus + Misc
Ranged weapons = Dexterity Bonus + Base Attack Bonus + Misc

And... I'm not quite sure what you mean by that last one.

I think by the last question he might mean "do you treat the Monks unarmed attacks like a weapon and write their details in the weapon stat box", in which case the answer is yes.

Specifically, A monks fists are a light bludgeoning weapon doing D6 damage (D4 if you are a halfling or a gnome)

Since you have a PHB, the next step is...
Get a DM. (That's Dungeon Master)
When you have a DM in whose game you will play, you will also have a resource to ask your questions in-game. That way the answers will make sense, and you can even follow up with more meaningful questions.

Right now, you're asking questions that would be akin to trying to learn how to fly a jet fighter using the instruction manual and a friend on a bulletin board. Until you're in a flight simulator, none of it will make sense. So with D&D, until you are in a game (or at least at the same table with other players) little you ask (and even less of what we answer) will make sense.

Seeker i have played the game many times before but I have never made my own character and I have never been a monk and that is why I posted this thread, and now all 3 questions have been anwsered clearly thanks.
