Character Sheet PDF [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-11-04, 08:46 PM Hey, I was wondering if there was anyone out there who knows how to mess around with PDF files. Just wondering because I have a realy great idea about how we could improve on the Character Sheet file the Wizards provides online. If you want to hear about it, please respond.

Google "character sheet" d20 and get 11,700 hits.
Restrict it to pdf files, and you still get 276 hits.

That's a lotta d20 pdf character sheets.

08-12-04, 09:34 AM No No No. What I mean is that I already have a Character Sheet PDF file that I got directly from Wizards of the Coast. My idea is to put text forms onto the PDF file so that you can fill out all the parts of the sheet before you print. Just something to help people with messy handwriting. Only problem is that I know NOTHING about how to alter an existing PDF file.

veryyyy nice when all the skills bonuses are auto-calculated while you enter the bonus next to the abilities :angel:
i also added one page for the spells, and two for the character background. Again: sweet and easy to do.

but mine is in french, so i doubt it will be helpful for you. But i remember a guy did it very well for Eberron character sheet - which is btw a very good character sheet. So if you go there and browse a bit with the search tool, you'll probably find it.

Can anyone link a site that has Form 3.5 Character Sheets? My handwriting is sloppy, and this would really help.

08-14-04, 11:42 PM You need the full version of Adobe Acrobat to edit PDFs.
I've been editing the Eberron character sheet for auto-completion (I still haven't figured out if the custom calculation field requies full java, just simplified java commands, java classes, or what exactly, need to go look that up), and I can tell you just adding editable fields is simple. Getting that fully interactive character sheet, thats hard.

08-14-04, 11:43 PM Try Here (http://www.darksideprod.com/shadowkeep/). It's a good auto-calculating type on sheet with a good layout, and not crammed together like the WoTC sheets. His v2.5 betas are currently updated to 3.5 Everything, and he'll soon have the final 2.5 version out.
