Does any one know of a 2-10 page char. sheet so that everything is big enough without having to squeeze itty bitty notes down so that I have more room to write... like spell sheet and everything else?
At least Colleged-rule sized spaces? or better yet Wide-ruled spaces?

Man. I can remember the days when everything fit fine on a single (home made) sheet & it was all legible.

I think that your best bet is to use a standard character sheet with some paper added to it.

Try these (http://www.rpgsheets.com/cgi-bin/arcdb.cgi)

They got the space i need but if you have a very big handwrinting then maybe not.
The other option is to make a sheet with just notes. I always have a notepad or something near me, then i can also later check with what the DM sayed. Pritty handy, saved my life.

The standard sheet can go [description censored for explicit content].

The ones I recommend for this purpose would probably be the Mad Irishman's (http://www.mad-irishman.com). Additional inserts for commonly-used things (i.e. a spellbook) are also available. It's entirely College rule except in a few areas that don't require revision very often. The layout also doesn't [description censored for explicit content].

I'd reccommend a 'charactor folio', $5 at a game store, and it has ton's of pages for every little thing you might need, or I just don't need much :D .

well, there is this place on this site that if you go to character sheets their is very detailed(and widly spaced) charater sheets. The problem is that their is only a few different ones, so it only works if the class you chose is there.

Right, but the layout totally [description censored for explicit content].

Hence the recommendation of alternate sheets.

Go google and download Heromachine 4.04. It'll give you a computer character sheet. Because it's nice and computer-generated, there's lots of space for notes, and when it begins to get grungy, go and type up the notes on the character sheet so you have it all set out. (I do this for living greyhawk, it helps with all the conditional bonuses and favors)

Wizards just posted a new character sheet today on the D&D homepage that's 4 pages in length. It seems to have everything.

Most character sheets suck. This is not an opinion, it is a fact.

The problem is that they all pretty much build off the same base model, making changes and variations here and there, but never questioning whether the base model was good enough. Whether it really addressed the manner in whcih players accessed the information.

Have you ever been to a park of college/univeristy campus where there are proper paths laid down but there are deep grooves and unofficial paths where people actually walk? In a few instances some designers got smart. They didn't plan out any paths at all. they let the place go for a year, saw where the natural traffic patterns developed, and placed their paths there.

That, IMO, is how you design a good character sheet. Instead of laying out the sheet as you think the user should or will use the info, or simply building on a sheet which has been designed in that manner, you need to look at how the info is actually used and accessed and build to that. Very, very few people actually do this. I did it back in 2e and got a lot of very good and complimentary feedback from people. I have yet to do it for 3e though, but it is on my "to do" list. Sadly, it is a very long list. :(

For now, I'd say go with Mad Irishman's sheets. They are pretty darn decent.

The new sheets are a very big change. I came here just now looking to discuss the new sheet, but I don't see a preexisting thread for it. I'll probably start my own.

The new character sheet makes the claim that it's for characters of any class, but looking over it I don't see any support for MoI or ToM characters. Seems like WotC doesn't understand how to make a single sheet with support for all of its systems and rules. Better luck next time WotC.

Not to mention the new character sheet wizards just put up doesn't seem to have any space for spells...

Or any room for a Psion's powers.
