srkingdavy 02-23-05, 11:39 AM	This is the concept. An "unearthed arcana" type book filled with optional rules for d20 fantasy, taken from whomever submits them. This book is then released as a PDF via OGL, with the line that anyone who donates 20 dollars to a legitimate charity under the name of "Unearthing arcane unearthly Arcanum" and sends it in gets a free physical bound copy of the book (I will pay for this.) Does anyone else think this is a good idea? has anyone else done somthing like this to your knowledge?

I am all for supporting charity, but I neither want nor need a book full of whatever unplaytested munchkin crap anyone cares to submit. Sorry to be so blunt but most people's house-rules are ass IMO. Plus, I think you are seriously underestimating how much it will cost to get the books printed and bound. Instead of putting yourself many thousands of dollars into debt for this, why not just donate that money to charity?

DanjaNinja 02-23-05, 12:54 PM	I think what he's saying is, one would donate under the name "Unearthing arcane unearthly Arcanum" to a legitimate charity, and then send some proof of that in to receive the book. Anyway, I tend to agree with Sulaco and Arrowhen. Edit: Oops, sorry for explaining the obvious, I misread the original post.
