If it doesn't exist, could someone at least tell me about a material with a high hardness that don't cost too much or and that is not impossible to find? ^_^;

NthDegree256 08-06-07, 11:39 PM	I don't know if there's a handy chart anywhere, but you might have a quicker time looking through the SRD - www.d20srd.org - than through the books. Check under Equipment & Special Materials and read the blocks about mithral, cold iron, etc. They should list the hardness in there.
NthDegree256 08-06-07, 11:48 PM	Addendum: Looks like you're out of luck unless you're willing to pay for mithral or adamantium - nothing else has a hardness above 10. Depending on what you're making and how much you're willing to spend, maybe a Crystal of Adamant Weaponry (from the Magic Item Compendium, but previewed here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ps/20070209a)) would be helpful. 300 gp lets you boost the hardness of your weapon by 2... depending on your DM, you might be able to find something similar for a non-weapon item.
Fly_dragoon 08-07-07, 12:08 AM	thanks for the quick reply For what I'm making, the size or type of the item is not important, only a high hardness is my priority. The item is for storing a type of raw magic (from non-offical book, chaos magic if you're curious ;) ) but each time you use it the hardness of the item go down, so in order to use it more often I need a material with a good hardness rating. Since I'm poor, I don't think I can afford more than iron or steel with its hardness of 10
