03-22-07, 10:25 AM I was thinking a while ago about different classes that gain bonuses to their AC (either from a stat or something else) and whether they would stack.

For example would a Monk's class AC bonus (lets say +2) stack with a Ninja's class AC bonus (lets say +3)? Or would you just keep the highest one?

Or how about a Monk/Ninja who has multiclassed into a duelist which can add their Int to their AC? Would the Int AC bonus stack with the Monk/Ninja Wis AC bonus?

03-22-07, 10:52 AM Zumarai answered accurately. To flesh out his answer a little...

If the bonuses comes from a different stat (i.e., Wis versus Int) then they will stack -- add 'em up!
If the bonuses come from the same stat, then they overlap -- use the best.

03-22-07, 11:33 AM Ah ok that is what I thought for the class AC bonus, but I was just checking. I figured that the Int bonus and the Wis bonus would stack since it is different stats. One of my friends did think that since they both provide an insight bonus (?I think?) that they wouldnt stack.
