I am getting back into D&D from a long hiatus and I was wondering if there are any large movements to convert any of the old classic module series to 3.5 rules? By module series I mean "Against the Giants", "Hidden Shrine of Tomoachan", "Lost Caverns of Socanth", and "Expedition to the Barrier Peaks", that sort of thing. Can these be purchased from WoTC? Are there other publishers who are licensed to publish such conversions? Do these conversions exist anywhere or do I need to just buckle down and convert them myself?

I appreciate any information on this. I tried searching the forum but I was unable to find a conclusive answer to my query.

I haven't seen any direct conversions for most of the old modules.
Occasionally they'd update them whith a "Return to ___" or an "Expidition to ____". But these were slight to heavy remakes storywise - especially the Ravenloft Expidition.

I have however re-played a few of the old adventures recently. All you need to do is use the current stat block for a creature. How hard is simply opening the MM??

If you need copies of old stuff you can find pdfs easily enough. Or Nobelknight has a good selection of the originals.

Wizards had posted two conversions. Tomb of Horrors, and White Plume Mountain. They are still somewhere on the site for download. There was an article someone wrote about converting Expedition to the Barrier Peaks using D20 Future, but no real conversion. As for the others, En world might have a few unauthorized conversions, but no one has done any official conversions. At least not that I have heard of.
So you're pretty much on your own. Check around on the web, someone might have posted conversions somewhere.

:detect: Good Luck...
