| Temmogen12-13-07, 04:14 PM | I posted this on the Char Devel boards, but there isnt enough traffic over there, so I'm posting it here too. Working from the premise that a Cleric can be faithful to an idea rather than a diety, I have been compiling a list of common cliches and the Cleric domains to support them. If anyone can contribute, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's what I have so far. Time heals all wounds: Time & healing All in due time: Time & Travel Knowledge is Power: Knowledge & Domination The Truth will set you free:(I know there is something, I just can't think of anything) I think therefore I am: Knowledge & Destiny Bringing Order out of Chaos: Planning & Chaos No man is an island: Community & Water Fools Rush in: Celerity & Trickery Haste makes Waste: Celerity & Destruction Safety in Numbers/We shall overcome: Community & Destiny |

When parting, clergy/faithful of Balfore would start with one saying, "May your road be long." and the other would reply, "And may your boots wear thin." Probably what you're not looking for, but can use it if you'd like. :) |
