Working from the premise that a Cleric can be faithful to an idea rather than a diety, I have been compiling a list of common cliches and the Cleric domains to support them. If anyone can contribute, I would greatly appreciate it. Here's what I have so far. LSMFT 12-13-07, 04:28 PM	I don’t know that cliché expressions rise to the level of ideals worthy of granting divine power, but for fun: Never look a gift horse in the mouth: Avarice or Trade and Animal domains It’s always darkest before the dawn: Darkness and Sun domains The best defense is a good offence: Force and Strength domains Six of one/half dozen of the other: Balance and Knowledge domains
Tanel 12-13-07, 08:39 PM	In my homespun world there is a god of wanderers, adventurers and travelers. When parting, clergy/faithful of Balfore would start with one saying, "May your road be long." and the other would reply, "And may your boots wear thin." Probably what you're not looking for, but can use it if you'd like. :)
