Hello,

in DM guide, i found stuff about thin air when in high altitudes..but I want to know, where does it talk about how long a person can climb up a surface or a mountain, without getting fatigued?

I remember back in 2E they had optional rules that you could fight or do very strenuous activity at full gear for 1 round/pt of con before you have to start making checks.

Does 3.X E mention anything about time?

Druid cast spider climb but had to climb up over 2000 ft which took like 12 minutes. Would she get tired?

The RAW has no check for any strenuous activity but running. Feel free to house rule one, or resurrect a rule from an earlier edition if you like.

Quick houserule on the fly (that is, I came up with it just by reading the thread title):

Treat climbing like running. Follow the rules for that.

Good luck!
