Cohorts and Party CR ? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-10-07, 07:47 PM Can anyone tell me where the information is on how to handle Cohorts and the increase to the parties CR. We can't find any info on how to do this. Thanks!

09-10-07, 08:42 PM I dont have my DMG on me at the moment so i can't give you page references sorry but i am pretty sure its in there, partially under the leadership feat section (pretty sure that is in the player characters section but you probably already know that)

i assume you are trying to alter what the party faces accordingly? I dont know if this is the best solution but i would use the multiple monster CR table to work our roughly the new effective CR of the party and then adjust that as they go through encounters.

If you are after dividing up exp then of course you dont need the party CR
