Is anyone elses Sideways and Misprinted?

The borders on the left side are about half an inch short so it cuts off the chapter titles and the page numbers about halfway through. I thought this was supposed a nicer looking version to be proud of owning.

I haven't seen anything like that before.

Try taking it to the store you bought it from and exchanging it for a good copy.

The store you purchased it from should give you a full refund.

Thx.

I spent 2 hours so far looking for a feeback or return form on the site.

So you ordered it online? From what site?

If its a site with a corresponding Real World store (Barnes & Noble.com for instance) take it into the store with the order number and ask them to replace it.

I read somewhere that Wizards will exchange any book that's been cut so that the actual text is damaged or missing. If it's just that the pages aren't all cut to the same margins, though (like mine) then you're outta luck. However, it's pretty obvious you've got a totally ****ed up book, so you should be able to get it exchanged/refunded. I can't remember where I read that though -- it might have been in the Wizards Customer Service FAQ. If you have no luck with the online store from which you bought the book, try contacting Wizards directly.

Reminds me of the time I drove past a broken down ferrari in a fiat panda!

I like my skinflint edition. As for you......well, meh!!

I have two of the collector's editions (PHB and DMG).

The first was half price because a page was torn (easily fixed) and the second was a birthday present from my players.

I'm still debating on whether or not I should pick up the MM version just to complete the set.

My PHB has the regular cover but the text is that of the special edition. :ayyyy!:

I have got the faux-leather special editions of the DMG and MM, though. Both were bought new and are in reasonably good condition -- the DMG has a few pages that were cut very close to the text, while the MM has a funny little dimple on the spine.

I picked up all three at the same time, brand new, at the local game store. Only the DMG is improper. The site I was searching around on was wizards here.

Found it. Have a look here (http://wizards.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/wizards.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=900&p_created=1136579926&p_sid=VF5vXPvi&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWR zb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MSZwX3Byb2RzPTAmcF9 jYXRzPSZwX3B2PSZwX2N2PSZwX3NlYXJjaF90eXB lPWFuc3dlcnMuc2VhcmNoX25sJnBfcGFnZT0xJnB fc2VhcmNoX3RleHQ9c3BlY2lhbCBlZGl0aW9u&p_li=&p_topview=1).

I feel certain that your book qualifies for being replaced.
