Sillastear 01-21-05, 09:46 AM	In the PHB 3,5 it mentions that:"The cleric must take a standard action to give mental orders to a commanded undead." I'd like to ask whether the cleric has to take a standard action to give a mental order to each commanded undead (5 standard actions for 5 undead) or just a standard action to order all of them. Also take under consideration the possibility of different kind of undead (skeletons,zombies...) and the possibility of different kind of orders (you go there, you protect me...). How the ordering is done after all the above? Thank for reading...
MarkB 01-21-05, 09:59 AM	I'd tend towards letting them take a single standard action to simultaneously issue orders to all undead currently under their control.
Joe Khol 01-21-05, 10:32 AM	I'd make it one standard action for each distinct order but you can give that order to as many or as few individuals as you want. I don't think different types of undead is an issue. It makes sense to me from a logical point of view since taking up a standard action for each and every undead is silly but giving an whole army of them a range of different orders in 'half a round' is equally silly.
