| Seeker9502-27-08, 11:23 AM | Friends, Romantics, Funnymen, lend me your eyes. This thread is to gather the truly most frequently raised topics (often called a FAQ, but in this case expanded to include non-questions as well) you have experienced on the D&D General Board. I will be accumulating these suggestions and scouring the Boards (some of us have a working Search feature) for the most common answers (why reinvent the wheel?) to compile into a "truly useful links" sticky for this Board. Suggest away! |
| Jutter02-27-08, 11:37 AM | 1. What do I need to play D&D? 2. I have some money laying around, which supplement should I buy? 3. I'm looking for a gaming group..... (redirect to classifieds). 4. I need a list of all 3.5 books. |

Or you could modify it by calling it "Frequently Asked/Raised Topics", that way it can be FART. Yay, I am so mature. Seriously though: People often ask which version of D&D they should buy, or what's the difference between editions. There are too many "what if my paladin burns down an orphanage and laughs" questions.... There are the DMPC questions (interestingly I haven't seen any for a while) |

Maybe define them and their limits in detail, and give examples of when a character/PC/NPC would be pushing it or taking things to far for said alignment. http://i39.photobucket.com/albums/e189/Celestialdragon100/Signature%20dragons%20and%20monsters/02-sec.gif **** |
| pangalactic02-27-08, 04:52 PM | Q. OMG teh DeeEm is teh suxor/Nerfiest game EVAR/Should I leave this group because...? A. If you're no longer having fun, and have tried to resolve your problems by actually talking to your group/DM, then yes. Nobody forces you to play, and there's no point playing if you don't enjoy it anymore. Start your own group and play the game YOU want to play. Or buy WoW. Whatever. |
