08-27-05, 07:33 PM First of all sorry if this already exists. Anyway with all this talk about this phantom '4e' I was wondering what people wanted in it. Just remember to not flame other people and their ideas, and this is all hypothetical. I'm not saying their will be a fourth edition, i'd just like to know what you'd want in it if there was.

So the things that i would like to see are the obliteration of classes and make it entirley skill/feat/ability based, the removal of Vancian spellcasting so it's more like Psionics (no free scaling) and finally an expanded Alchemy section which could hold it's own against magic and psionics.

Obviously you can and should elaborate on my points further if you're passionate about them ;)

Your own search system. It took me five minutes, and it HAS been at least a week (more around two weeks) it appears since the first one listed had it's last entry.

Don't sweat it, I do things like ask a question that's already been asked and is just on page 2 all the time. However in interests of your commentary I've provided the discussions I could find on a quick survey of this specific forum within the month of August.

Rather than provide a response that simply said Don't feed the trolls I responded with a less direct answer that still addressed your opening statement. You didn't know if it's a repeat, and now you do. If your screen name has nothing to do with flaming in the Boards sense, and you just happen to be a pyromaniac instead, my reasonable assumption was simply in error.

Seeker pretty much said it all. How can you, with such a sardonic moniker, take offense to people getting snippy over your question? It's about the most eye-rolling topic on the boards these days.

Now since this is such an 'eye-rolling topic' you might aswell stop posting in it and just let it die. I didn't know it had been beaten to death (Although I suspected it had been debated reasnobly) and I understand that you were just pointing out this was as old as the dinosaurs.

Sorry for getting all prickly, just I never seem to make topics that people find interesting or usefull so I was just a little annoyed that this was another flop. I'll go back to trying to make things like races, classes, etc. and see if I have any luck there.
