We already know of 2 Complete Mage and Complete Scroundrel. What would you like to see from the other complete book sequals?

In the second Divine book I'd like to see support for the Archivist. Also, a totem shaman 20th level class would be great so see.

Complete Players Handbook or Players Handbook 3.75. It is not a real 3.75, but just a book with the changes that already has come.

Races: Same races, except for Half-elves and half-orcs fixed. Orcs, Goblins, Kobolds and Hobgoblins(now adjusted to +0 LA) as new playable races.

Classes: No more "memorize" spell casters. So, the Clerics and Druids would spellcst as in Unerthead Arcana, and also the Paladin and Ranger(how, I don't know). No more weak sorcerer or trouble wizard, just the Mage (and not Beguiler, Dread Necromancer or whatever). Trade the Ranger for the Scout. More sills choices for the Fighter.

Skills: just add the new stuff from the "Races of" series.

Feats: just add the best feats from other books, like "monkey grip".

AND MOST IMPORTANT: new images!! I hate Jozan, Tordek and the others. Hate hate hate. Put a warrior in full plate armor with a sword and a shield to represent the Fighter. Is generic? But that's how everybody likes it.

Edit: And also the new polimorph changes.

I don't need nother complete book. But I need a complete core book.

uhh...no we really don't need a 3.75 just yet......3.5 is just gettin up to speed, so why take the p!ss out of it now. anyway i'd like to see maybe a complete humanoid, like the humanoid handbook but upgraded for 3.5, and oh yeah, i'd love to see an expanded complete arms and equipment upgraded for 3.5, also maybe a "complete wild" for ranger/druid classes that could be cool, and maybe a "complete urban" for urban types, they could even have stuff for wilderness or urban campaigns not unlike stormwrack and frostburn...

Hmm I would like Complete Warrior II, add stuff for all of the existing complete warrior + phb classes and also information for the new PHB II.

FYI, I believe the second batch of "Complete" series of books will contain all new content. One of the authors of "Complete Mage" said that it contains all new material. So I expect all the other follow-on "Complete" books in that series to also have exclusively new material.

My ultimate suggestion:

Focus on quality, not quantity.

Personally:

I don't need 3 new core classes per "Complete" sourcebook. Make 1 really good, balanced one that is fun to play and is very well thought out and supported with enough material to make it playable.

I don't need 40 new feats to make me buy a sourcebook, especially if they are broken munchkin wet dreams. Give us 1/2 that number of feats that REALLY add flavor to the game that people will want to use.

I don't need 80 broken or worthless/limited use spells. Give us 1/2 that number of unique well-rounded spells that take my characters and players in new directions and expand the limits of the players' imaginations.

HAH!

I told the Greytalk crew while reviewing the PHB II for them last week that it might as well be the PHB 3.75.
WotC is moseying into 4E little by little. Sooner or later they will have to accept it and revise all the Core books.

I just want to see a "3.5 patch" for free (or a very small-priced pdf) online which fixes balance issues (CoDzilla, crappy healer), makes strange mechanics make sense, and generally makes the already good 3.5 edition better than it is now. Updating rules in supplemental books is annoying, becuase it isn't accessible by all players (this is especially a problem in online PbEM/PbP games).

As for material that can be put into new complete books, I want the trends started in some Eberron books regarding spells to be more widespread and to be made core, assuming they haven't been already. Optional material componenets and mindset spells (gives people a reason other than metamagic to play a caster who prepares spells) are both things that can completely revolutionize magic in 3.5, but they have only appeared in a few books so far. This should change. Racial components and spells with boosted effects based on race and/or other features are also nifty things that should be more widespread imo.

EDIT: And I want something official to repeal that @$%*ing Astral Construct eratta in Complete Psionic. I hate that crap.

I would like something like complete animal. Something that lists all new animals and familiars and stats for them. I think this was posted before on the boards. Also a complete fiend of some kind, something that is about undead, demons, and bascilly any evil thing that would be SWEET!:rimshot:

i would love to see a complete Homebrew.

Take some of the nice races, classes, feats and spells the community has posted on the boards or printed in older Dragon magazines. This way all the good stuff will be bundled. But who am i kidding never going to happen, would be cool tho.

I would like to see one for the NPC classes. Maybe more NPC classes, options and other things of both fluff and crunch. It would be for DMs to make better NPCs

Although the name, and my copy of it, eludes me at the moment, there was an NPC "rogues gallery" type book for Hero Third Edition. A bunch of NPCs and other "commoner" types suitable for use as sidekicks and Aunt May or Mary Jane types, or just as victims of the moment.
It was, in current terms, a lot of fluff, and had a lot of location (setting) specific references, but something similar could be interesting for D&D.

I would honestly not have a problem with WotC publishing a book that has all their non-campaign setting specific feats listed in one handy place. It would save a LOT of time looking through all those books for a feat.

Complete Diplomat:
new Ambassador class
new applications of skills, new feats, new spells for those who spend more time talking than fighting, and filing paperwork than casting spells
new PrCs, of course (spellcasting spymaster-type PrC, Demagogue PrC, Fiendish Manipulator PrC, etc.)
hints and recommendations about setting up richly detailed encounters (such as masquerade and debutante balls) amongst the nobility, advice on dealing with the "Man" (i.e. the "bureaucracy"), how to defeat a beholder by filing Form 191A: Request for Mandatory Emergency Vision Exam for Aberrations and Magical Beasts, etc., etc.
You know, stuff like that.

Just kidding! (Well, mostly just kidding)

Oh ****, it's me back again, I thought I quit this addiction like last year, but like any true addiction Im addicted to these boards again.

First off, epic stuff, I can't stress how badly epic needs to be revisited, but odds are never will be :-/.

Stop reprinting crap, exactly like it is.
There is so much reprinted crap that no one ever uses, and you know why? because it sucks.
Stop giving us 60 pages of filler and 20 pages of useful stuff.
Stop giving us pre-made npc's, premade dungeons and premade roleplaying hints.
Give us solid, useable Player related stuff.
Stop giving us filler like how to run an undead encounter(libris mortis),and crap like sample npcs, or sample temples(complete divine).
Give us real epic feats, real spells, real classes.
Stop giving us templates that would make impossible npcs, give us races and templates that make sense from levels 1-20 with a scaling by hit dice.

As for what kind of books I'd like to see:
Epic
Player races:
more equipment books
wonderous item books
prestige class books.
Stop giving us 50/50 of anything.
I'm really tired of looking in one book for one spell, then another book for a prestige class, and another book for a spell.

Have one of each type of books.
One prestige class book
one spell book
one feat book
Stop combining the dang things.
Okay, first post back :).
Hey guys!

Well, the thing is . . . that compendium had 250 issues. They haven't even printed a hundred more yet.

Call it the Complete 3.5 Fix.
Remove polymorph and its affiliates. Monomorphs are a good step in the right direction, in fact alot of what I hear from the PH2 is in the right direction.

Complete Invoker, yeah, or Magic of Invocations or something. Basically expand on the mechanic of the warlock. Add variants of core classes using this mechanic (bard comes to mind) as well as new invocations and prestige classes.

Why start now? the majority of stuff in Complete Psionics was reprinted from Dragon Magazine and other "Races of" books. :weep:

My wish list: Hmmm...

1. Feats that make sense. (no creating 4 feats that do almost exactly the same thing, with only minor differences... roll them all into one! I don't care if you have a Feat Quota.)

2. Rules, not errata (Nuff Sed.)

3. Consistancy. (If you are going to change a Summoning Power to only allow summoning 1 creature because of game balance or whatever, then don't include a new power that can be augmented to summon multiple creatures at a time!)

4. No Iconic NPCs are needed for each and every single class. (If the rules are clear enough then we don't need to see one prebuilt. ... that said if you must include one then please, by all means, make sure it qualifies for the PRC.)

5. Don't rush to press. (Grammer errors, Table/Text disagreements, and obvious Cut and Paste sections that were reworded to barely fit the topic make people think twice about shelling out $30+)

Complete Psionic 2: This Time, it's Personal

So true.... So very true.
Hate to say it chums but if the formatting of Complete Mage is anything like Complete Psionic you will be disappointed.
(and yes... I did buy it, I did read it, I didn't return it... but I'll read future purchaces more closely in the store from now on.)

Release the $30 Complete 'X' 300 page new format with fluff out the wazzoo, take your time explaining the reproductive cycles of the Redwinged Moth... awesome.

Simultaniously release the $15 Abridged 'X' 150 page old format of nuttin but crunch.

let the Market decide... if the gamers Really want all the Tactics, Iconic NPCs, Encounter ideas, and orginizations, ...or if their campaign hinges on the reproductive cycle of the Redwinged Moth, well they will have that option too. :)

Complete Aesthetic

A needed boost for the much forsaken monk.

Three new core classes: Meditative Mind (focusing on the supernatural aspects of the monk), Martial Artist (master of kung-fu ass-kickery without all those wishy-washy supernatural abilities), and Missionary (I donno, the name sounded cool)

New styles, some handy Prestige Classes (but not too many), and a bucket load of feats. It’s an idea.
