07-07-05, 04:03 AM Hi im going to buy the phb and i want to buy one of the complete books , so what do you recome :confused:

I personally think the Complete Divine was pretty good and also the Complete Warrior. But that has to do with the fact that I like playing warriors.

What do you like in a game?

Battle Sorceror is a variant in Unearthed Arcana, Hexblade in Complete Warrior.

I call Warrior, but then, it does all depend, if you're likely to be a blast monkey, Arcane has a ton of new spells to play with.

Sounds like you would be most interested in Complete Divine or Complete Warrior.......or
Complete Arcane depending on your prefernce of spellcasting. Doesn't really help in narrowing
down the field at all does it though. :confused:

I personally will always recommend Complete Warrior but that's because it's my favourite and I
prefer melee type characters. Doesn't work for everyone though.

By the way the Battle Sorcerer is from Unearthed Arcana and the Hexblade is from Complete
Warrior. :)

Which reminds me, the Warlock has some pretty all around goodness as well, (Complete Arcane).
