Krusk 11-28-07, 03:05 AM	People come here often enough looking for one, and since one never surfaces I took the time to compile one. This is as accurate as I could think of, but I only got to the OA setting. So any specific to Forgotten realms, Eberron or others were left out for now. For some races it was simply mentioned that they spoke their own language, in those instances I simply took my best guess at what it would be called, usually just using the races name. celestialkin 11-28-07, 03:52 AM	Well, there are the languages spoken by the races in the Dragon Compendium Volume I. The Diaboli speak Diabolan. It can be learned by any humanoid, but most find it almost impossible to master. (p.8) The Diopsid speak using light glands on their bodies, so it is impossible for other creatures to learn it (I guess unless a magic user really tried :rolleyes: ). (p.12) The Dvati language requires two creatures speaking simultaneously to properly use it. The entry does not say the language can't be spoken improperly, so I don't know. (p.15) The Lupins speak Lupin. (p.20) The Tibbits speak Feline. (p.23) Thanks for taking the time to put this together Krusk. Maybe it exists? According to the MM, and Races of the Dragon, kobolds speak Draconic with a slightly different dialect. They use a lot of whistles, growls, and barks. According to the MM (p.161) "Kobolds speak Draconic with a voice that sounds like that of a yapping dog.". Fun fact: The kobolds actually invented the written form of the Draconic language, not the dragons.
Krusk 11-28-07, 12:40 PM	Thanks for the help. The only reason i didnt mention which book a language came from is that most are in multiple books. Even some of the obscure ones like worg or Khen-Zai. It would be really intense if i did that and the first post would get gigantic.

I use a heavy Ukranian style accent for her since common isn't a base language for them.
