Is there somewhere I can purchase an Adobe pdf or some computer version of the v3.5 manuals?

http://www.d20srd.org/index.htm

The online SRD, includes the basic contents of the PHB, DMG, MM, Expanded Psionics Handbook, and Unearthed Arcana. And it's free.

Also, I know guys who have had luck finding *.pdf versions of whole books via Kazaa, BitTorrent, etc. You really have to look for them though.

Keep in mind, that's technically illegal. Although I think it *is* legal if you already own the book; it's kind of a gray area.

I strongly advise you, Drauglin, to NOT use this method of obtaining the books, as it is illegal.

Hey I never said it was legal. I just said it was possible. I don't condone it either. I have pdf versions of the PHB, DMG, and Psionics book because I own them.
