Concerning Miniatures Handbook [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-10-06, 02:56 PM Is the Miniatures Handbook only for playing D&D minis or can I use it for regular D&D as well? Is it worth getting it if one does not play D&D minis often (or at all)?

12-10-06, 03:31 PM with the dnd mini handbook, you can translate your own characters from the players handbook over to miniatures stats.

I've found it better to do for larger battles (epic style). Thats the only reason I got the book.

12-10-06, 03:44 PM I am fan of the book since the spells are useful, decent feats, and 2 Prestige Classes that have my imagination for a long while. I think its a good book, for $30 dollars though i'm iffy on it, but plenty of people have ways to find sales.

12-10-06, 05:57 PM There's lots of new material in the book for use in the D&D game - base classes, prestige classes, feats, spells, items, and so on. One of the players in my game is playing a marshal - one of the base classes from the book.

Amazon.com is listing the price at $19.77. That seems like a decent price for the product.
