StormKnight 04-06-04, 01:15 PM	Take the Monster Manual, start at the beginning, and fight your way through, in order. It got made fun of in KotD, (rightly so) but how many of us have actually done it at least once? :D I'm guilty...so are at least 2 other players I know.
Seeker95 04-06-04, 01:44 PM	Instead of doing so alphabetically, my group did this based on Hit Dice. Of course, this was back in 1e (some time between 1983 and 1986), where HD and balance did not necessarily match, and the idea of Challenge Rating was non-existent. But it was fun.
halzmar of geoff 04-06-04, 07:51 PM	My cousin did that trick back when I first started back in 1983 - alphabetically. Of course he also put a hundred adult dragons in a 10x10 room but hey such is the stuff fond memories of childhood are made.
