| taunter08-25-07, 01:18 PM | Very well! You made it! You ruined the ancient ever-mighty Dungeons and Dragons! Transforming the 4th edition in a video game, bad idea, I see that you don't understand the concept... the fun was on describing the scene, not to show to the players on the computer. The 3th edition was quite well, but wasn't so fun than the second! Too many rules and low imagination! ALL HAIL GREAT TSR!!!:surrender |
| Khadmus08-25-07, 01:20 PM | I think you're a puppet for some major boards player who wants to express his/her feelings yet not look like an utter moron doing so. And you're a bit late. |
| jaelis08-25-07, 01:43 PM | Ah, give the poor guy a break. Obviously he wants to keep playing 2nd ed, but those brown-suited ninjas from WotC keep showing up and pilfering his books. Who wouldn't get a little upset? |
| EvilVegan08-25-07, 01:43 PM | His name is Taunter and he has a sparkling new screen name. I have yet to see such a beautiful example of trolling! Huzzah! |
| Tempest Stormwind08-25-07, 01:47 PM | Eh, not quite. The best examples of trolling are informed. Confused trolls are just aggrevating, sort of like wild punches to the face, while an informed troll knows exactly where to hit to stir up the most flames. Taunter seems to have 4e confused with the digital initiative programs, so his attacks are, naturally, off the mark. Similarly, he's also missed the mark on the edition wars somewhat (see the ArcTan quote in my sig), which also leads to a shoddy attack. The best trolls are ones that post completely innocent questions from a reasonably informed position that spawn into total flamefests. You've seen this on Classes, for instance, with threads like "So why is the fighter considered underpowered?" or somesuch. |
| WizO_Crosis08-25-07, 02:02 PM | We have a 4E forum for any related discussion. We also have a thread (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=905787) for any concerns you may have. :) Wizards is very interested in the community reaction, and each of those threads is being read by staff. So please, feel welcome to post your feedback there. Also as a general reminder, please just report threads if they're off-topic. Thanks! That said, I'll just close this up now. :b: |
