Conservapedia has an article on D&D that is good for a laugh (it cites to "Christian thinker Jack Chick" for pete's sake).

I suppose it's just a work in progress, but perhaps someone here can improve their description.

I thought it was pretty well written, and the only real disagreement I have is with the phrase "Its dangers were well and succinctly summarized in the Dark Dungeons tract by Christian thinker Jack Chick." I've never found D&D to be dangerous.

What's so funny?

Why do you think all conservative Christian people think DnD is evil? Because of one moron and people who don't know what they are talking about? It sited Tracy Hickman in there also, perhaps you should start laughing at him as well?

Perhaps you should start laughing at me too. I'm a conservative christian DnD player along with the rest of my group. Does that make me less of a person because I have a different belief system as you?

Seriously, you being a presumed "Libral" who champions freedom of speech and respect for all Ideas, like to make fun of someone with a different belief system by calling it "Funny"?

How about this, buy a plane ticket and move to Iran or Jordan. Then try to play DnD in a park somewhere and tell them you think the Koran is a load of crap. I dare you.

While this may seem harsh, I see off-hand comments made about my belief and my religion on a daily basis with nothing being done about it. If you truly respect the rights of all beings to worship/play the way they wish, then quit putting down what you yourself don't believe in.

It's easy to make fun of Christianity, why don't you make fun of Islam for a change?

Over-reaction much?

Anyway, I think it could definately be improved. It's way to rational sounding as is.

Ok, since this is starting to go toward the personal route (whenever you get to Conservative versus Liberal thinking, I guess that is the normal course), it's time to close this thread. Besides, Jack is referenced, and he really doesn't deserve our advertising.
