all right i have a group with 3 people taking turns dming. we have manged to make the rules work execpt for one consturcts. i managed to find a old dragon article that stated constructs are powered by elementals, but one dm argues that there is no such thing as a int 2 or lower elemental. this has lead to a alignment conflict question. i know eberon enslaves elementals to make air ships, and this strikes me as immoral. so

1 are you imprisioning int creatures to make consturcts and if so is this an evil act?

2 or are there animal level int or lower elementals out there and they are being used like domesticated animals to power a consturct?

3 why do consturcts have no int if powered by an int elemental?

#2 i think makes the best answer but we cant find any support in any book for this. has any one read about something that touches this?

4. You are harnessing an elemental spirit, not an elemental. An elemental is the physical(ish) form that an elemental spirit takes. An aspect of this form includes rudimentary intelligence. The elemental spirit, on the other hand, is neither sentient nor intelligent. It is pure raw elemental energy bonded into a unified essence.

All of the above is an ad hoc made-up explanation. Any resemblance to an existing rule or sourcebook is purely coincidental.
