| DracoFeast03-15-04, 01:55 PM | Our gaming group bought a second hand source books/boxed set of D&D2nd Ed SpellJammer. Now the nightmare starts for me. How on earth do you start converting this to 3.5? Converting the creatures / monsters is not an issue, as I can get a generic in the Monster Manual and just leech those stats and suck thumb here and there. The nightmare involves fighting in space. There is so many things to consider when a Neogi Death Spider bears down on a Trader for instance. I have to face this at some point (the players wont be happy with me stranding them on the Rock of Bral due to my "DM Space-fright". Any ideas how to tackle this ? Sympathy also welcome. |

| Escef03-19-04, 12:05 PM | So good to see people interested in Spelljammer. There was also the "Beyond the Spider Moons" (I think that's what it was called) mini-game in an issue of Dungeon/polyhedron a year or two back. Look into it and use what looks good to ye. Advice: don't use the new illustration for Hammership, it's ugly. The original is a sleek, stylish thing if ever there was. |
