converting a module from 2 to 3.5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

02-05-05, 04:06 PM I'm trying to locate conversion information for taking D&D info from ver 2 to ver 3.5. I've found the 'accessory update' document set for going from 3 to 3.5 but have been unable to locate the document that aided with the conversion of 2 to 3. Does anyone have the link to that document? have anything that will guide me in the conversion? Thanks!

02-05-05, 04:31 PM There isn't any "handy way" to go from 2e to 3e.
Just keep the plot, use the new versions of monsters, and go through the PHB and DMG to assign DCs for various traps and circumstances. Magic items should work the same as the monsters. For class levels for the BBEGs, just guesstimate.

02-07-05, 09:53 PM I was concentrating on the NPCs and monsters and forgot all about the traps and such. I'll head back to reading it through again! Thanks for the advice.
