My group and I got on the subject one night about wanting to play characters from our favorite video games. I made Kratos from God of War and then decided to turn my attention to Mortal Kombat. I've been converting the 60 characters of Mortal Kombat to D&D.
I've got Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Drahmin, Molach, Ashrah, Goro, Kintaro, Smoke, and Noob Saibot created I'll post their stats in a couple days.

Baraka has got me stuck :banghead: with this: What race? The arm blades are causing me the most trouble as what to make him. Should I make a new race or just alter another seeing how the blades are his race's trademark.

Any advice?

Also I'd love to see how other people might create video game characters for D&D. So if you have the time feel free to post any character you bring to D&D.:D

There's a whole thread for this in the CharOp forum. Everything from Video Game Characters To Comic Book Heroes.

Goombas from the Mario Games
Mario and Luigi
Earthworm Jim
Billy and Jimmy Lee from the Double Dragon games
The Shadow King from Double Dragon II (nes version)
The Bionic Commando

Oh, I'll second the need to see Pacman statted.

EDIT: Double Dragon started out as a T.V, show.

It started as an arcade game.

Yep, it was an arcade game first. It was later made into a NES (the old nintendo) game. There was also a Sega version of the game for a while too. In the Sega version (IIRC) Billy and Jimmy had slightly different styles of sousetsuken (not sure of spelling,) the martial art they practice; one of them focused on I think nunchaku; the other focus on....ugh, I can't remember. You can find it online though if you look it up.

Another fun fact is that the end bosses of the River City Ransom game were patterned after Billy and Jimmy Lee. Also, there was a game called Renegade which was supposed to be a Double Dragon game, but there were some problems with licensing at the time, so the company who made Renegade had to go back and slightly change how everything looked in the game.

Either way, what I'm mainly looking for is to stat the version of Billy and Jimmy from the NES games; I'd like to see stats for The Shadow King from NES's Double Dragon 2 - he was the end boss, but you only got to fight him if you played the game on (IIRC) the hard difficulty setting; otherwise the end boss was a set of dopplegangers that looked like shadowy versions of Billy and Jimmy.

As far as Pacman, I figured he'd be something similar to a Beholder, but I'm not sure. I started a thread about it once in the races section of the boards.

In a campaign setting me and my friend are making we have Link, Princess Zelda and Ganondorf as 'patron saints' of three countries. (Saints are very minor Gods.)
Link is a Wood elf Ranger with ranks in perform and use magic device and the like.
Zelda is a High elf Cleric who also has ranks in perform (she currently has hold of the Ocarina of Time)
Ganondorf is a Pit Fiend. I don't think we've decided what class levels to give him yet...

(We've also renamed them all... Finwe, Princess Luthien, and Lord Gollancz)
