Lord_Butler 01-17-06, 08:59 PM	I just got something pretty cool my last game for my elf ranger (archer) that I play with in the Eberron campaign setting, and was wondering if anyone else out there have gotten items that they just think are really cool. I got a "Healing Quiver". It holds ten arrows that release Cure Moderate Wounds upon striking my target. I like this item because it makes me more lethal to undead, while they are my first favored enemy, I never really did that much damage to them. Also if anyone in my group needs healing, I can just shoot them with an arrow. They better hope I don't roll a crit! :evillaugh So let's hear yours!
Seeker95 01-17-06, 09:52 PM	In a 1e/2e campaign, I got a Sword of Repentance for my Paladin. When he struck an evilcreature with a wisdom higher than its intelligence, the creature had to make a saving throw against spells to avoid having his alignment change to good.

Board_Rider 01-18-06, 12:54 AM	I once received this crazy overpowered artifact from Mystra in this FR campaign I once played in. A few things were a high SR, some spells, instant healing...stuff like that. I became a bit too uber with that PC....
HappyDragon 01-18-06, 01:17 AM	My previous Ranger character from an Eberron campaign that was able to stumble across a baby griffon in the wilds of Xen'drix. Saved it from the vile cluthces of a hungry displacer beast :D ....(Which nearly killed the character in return for stealing it's meal.... :eek: ) The whole encounter coincidentaly coincided with the character just having recently become a 4th level ranger. Best way to get an Animal Comapanion EVER!!!! His feathers are brilliantly coloured red and gold, and he's really pretty and absolutely adorable and he tried to eat my character until a mutual understanding was able to be reached. His name is Vash. :) (He was soooo cute trying to nip at the fingers...). I don't know if an Animal Comapanion quite qualifies as loot, but I certainly thought it was super cool. If it does't there was a set of cool throwing daggers the character got based off the theme of griffons later on in Xen'drix.....
Morbid 01-18-06, 03:56 AM	I got a ring that had 8 facets on it. For each I would gain an ability, a feat, a disfigurement (in my favor) or other such great things. With each facet the power would get stronger. I loved it. (Oh yeh, I had to let it claim the life of someone I knew and as the powers got stronger, the person got closer to my heart. Yeh, the wife went for the best resault) VILE
Caemin Pah 01-18-06, 09:09 AM	I had THE coolest sword from the original BD&D. The Sword of Slicing When an attack roll equals 19-20 (with ONLY the sword bonus added), the target must save vs spells (or Will save in 3.0). If the Target succeeds at the save, target still takes damage x3. If the save is failed, target is instantly reduced to 0 hit points. The effect does not work against undead or constructs though. I had a blast with this sword. My fighter RAWKED !!!.
Raven Dark 01-18-06, 10:27 AM	The best thing I was awarded in a campaign a while back was a "bejeweled crown of intellect +2." I was a tank fighter. :( In a campaign prior to that, however, the best thing I got for my barbarian grappler was +1 breastplate w/+1 flaming armor spikes. That was just too cool.
AlexVADnD 01-18-06, 10:47 AM	Way back when I had a character who fought with Blackrazor - that rocked!! This was the old AD&D version of the sword (if memory serves) +3 Bastard Sword Haste 10x/day All damage dealt heals you and grants bonus HP.
LordofNightmares 01-18-06, 11:58 AM	"The nifty thing" Thats the only name for it we ever figured out for it. It was an apple sized silver orb covered in buttons. One button created an antimagic aura, another made soem blade pop out and allowed it to be used as a +2 dagger, Another one made rongs stic out on its sides and turned it into an immovable rod, another button made it turn into a +1 dancing buckler. It was totally badass.
jaw4ever 01-18-06, 12:10 PM	In a undead temple campaign, my paladin/hunter of the dead recieved am emerald ring of undead slaying ! Whom so ever wore the emerald ring would be given the supernatural ability to critically hit undead creatures. Needless to say with the power of the emerald ring of undead slaying and my Improved Critcal: Longsword feat, I was quite the knightly badass :ayyyy!:
