Hey guys.

For the last two months I have been playing a Warmlying Copper Dragon (which is now very young), and last week my DM told me I am not role-playing a Copper Dragon correctly. Therefore, after seeing the Brass Dragon thread I decided to try asking you for help. Can you please give me your advice on how to properly role-play a very young copper dragon?

I believe I have done well on it's curiosity and somewhat childish behavior, but nothing else. My DM did mention I should be doing pranks, but I am not sure how to do them without hurting or endangering the party.

Also, any ideas for fun and creative pranks would be greatly appreciated. I have a Wand of Create Traps (a Races of the Dragon spell), which my DM says I can modify the CR1 traps for (I already modified the trigger dart trap to throw cream pies instead). Any other creative uses of this wand would also be appreciated.

Oh, and one of the other player's character helped raise this dragon, and he looks up to him as a sort of father figure, so I am not completely sure how to role-play this into the game. What I can do with this. Maybe have him rebel a bit like a cranky teenager?

Thanks in advance everyone!

Pranks Ideas:

- Put the hand of the paladin in a bowl of water while he sleep, to have him waste himself...

- Cast Secret Page (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/spellsS.html#secret-page) on the wizard's spellbook or the cleric's prayer book. If it's too high level, Silent Image (http://www.systemreferencedocuments.org/35/sovelior_sage/wizardSpells.html) could perhaps do the same for the purpose of a prank.

- Slip a frog in someone's bag or shoes. Tell him it's a princess who need to be kissed to get her true form.

- Fly on top of a city wall to write something on a it with mud, for example "The Rogue likes leeks & broccoli" or "The Sheriff has hairs between the toes".

I would use cantrip spells in anyway possible. There's got to be some ways to make little noises and lights into pranks.

I ran a dragon campaign with an NPC copper wyrmling dragon named Pookie who also happened to be the cleric so the party wouldn't kill him.

Just think of that little cousin who will not shut up. Just keep your mouth running with annoying questions like a small kid with ADHD.

As for some pranks....

Stick your tongue out at the big bad guy (free action) and then burrow so you show up behind your front line fighter.

Play fetch...... with a rod of wonder.

Nail the furniture to the ceiling while the party sleeps and then spider climb on the ceilling while shouting "What are you guys doing upside down?"

Thank you guys. So far these are some great prank ideas, and I like the role-playing advice given.

If anyone else has any more prank ideas please share. It would be very appreciated!
