Milo HoBo 01-05-06, 04:58 AM	Though not word documents, they do have the system reference document. It has been seen on these boards as the SRD. You can find this on the main page on the left bar almost all the way at the bottem (it's a little square that says d20). It should be fairly easy to find. However, other sights on the internet have an easier format to access. Other posters may be able to provide it. I'm going to bed, good luck. antsterr 01-05-06, 05:45 AM	Note that it is not a complete replacement for the core books. The SRD does not cover rules for character creation or advancement. I think very few people would find it good replacement for the books, It's a great utility. check out www.d20srd.org for a handy hypertext (web page) version. It's great for looking up combat rules, class features, magic spells and monster stats.
Miodrag 01-05-06, 05:57 AM	Can someone fill me in on the player advancement rules? I do intend to buy the books, but I'm in my hometown for the holidays and want to try the game out with some friend before I try it out.
