| ru4iowahawkeyes07-28-05, 10:45 PM | My question is... if u have the core rulebooks, do you need maps? i dont quite understand if you can use your minis with a battlefield and monsters if you just need rulebooks... but, it might be able to be done with d&d it always amazes me! I have the basic game and i was wondering... if you can play the basic game with the core rulebooks? I have played it but i dont think it would be as great as it would be to play with the rulebooks. All i mean is what is the difference between the two? and i need to know if you need maps/boards to play the game? Can SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE GAME OF THE RULEBOOKS ARE? thanks, Steven |

Battle mats are mats with a 1 inch grid on them, same as the map that comes with the basic game. By using dry or wet erase markers, you can draw on the mat and then wipe away when done. |
