Dr. Fastin 04-09-05, 05:56 PM	Hey there what are the rules for talking in combat? A round is 6 seconds sure, but my group got nailed by our DM last time we played on holding actions and yelling out a simple command. Any suggestions?
Seeker95 04-09-05, 06:07 PM	Talking is a free action, and it can even be done on another player's turn.From the SRD: Speak: In general, speaking is a free action that you can perform even when it isn’t your turn. Speaking more than few sentences is generally beyond the limit of a free action.In my game, I limit talking on another's turn to no more than 6 words. This is just to prevent player-to-player "do this" and "do that" instruction overkill.
