Crafting an "Exalted" Setting [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-10-04, 11:26 PM In the cosmology for my setting, there are two outer planes: Heaven and Hell. Between the prime and heaven is a little known material world, same between the prime and hell. Now, the border plane to hell was quite easy to flavor, heros battle the fiends in a rather dismal setting.

But what kind of fun, high fantasy, conflicts can exist on a primarily good world?

I'd just like to see other people's ideas on this one, and I think it is a very interesting discussion to open up.

erm.. what way is better build new housing to cover the increasing population with out hurting the enviroment to much? Decided through diplomacy?

Actually, one idea I did have in mind was to slightly base this world off of the Avalon of european lore. This globe would be hollow, with a surface on the inner edge of the crust. The natives of the planet could be like the seelie and unseelie fey in ways, where the unseelie aren't evil, they're just very chaotic.

Just plucking for ideas.
