cleric_of_ted 09-25-06, 02:26 PM	I had this idear for a future character that was a cleric with a big ol metal incased holy book and when he saw evil or when he heard some one baspheming he would go aaaahhhhhhhhhhhh and run over an beat them to death with the book what do u think is it good or not? RobbyPants 09-25-06, 03:21 PM	Kind of funny... Were you thinking of making him "proficient" in the book (so it's not improvised)? I doubt it would do much more than 1d6 damage (very little leverage), but you'd get to add in 1.5 x your Str mod! I've done wierd characters in the past, but they tend to get old after a session or two (IMHO). I made a lunatic bard once that had these stuffed duckies (kind of like rubber duckies in the pre-rubber days), half of which held explosives. The nut put a wick in all of them (on purpose) so nobody (including himself) would know if the one he just lit as a dud or a bomb.
