irzg9zh3psgq3m09 05-25-06, 06:51 PM	How would you create Beowulf in D&D? I'd assume he'd be at least 20, probably an epic level fighter, since he was able to fight underwater for a lengthy period of time, kill creatures who killed dozens of men with ease, and take on a dragon nearly by himself. What's your take on him?
ORC_Paradox 05-25-06, 07:02 PM	You should check back issues of Dragon. For some odd reason, they just LOVE to do Beowulf issues. So much so, I'm sick of Beowulf. (Every time an issue with Beowulf comes out, I think "AGAIN?")

Darkxarth 05-26-06, 12:56 AM	I would place Beowulf as an Epic level Barbarian/Fighter. He ripped the arms of Grendel, and swam across an ocean, while fighting sea monsters. On a side note, Beowulf seems very similar to Thor, in Norse mythology, to me. Has anyone else seen this similarity? Uber-Strength Killed a "Serpent" (Jorgmundir, the World Serpent, who Thor kills in Ragnarok)in the end battle Fights "Giants" (Grendel) for fun I saw some more similarites, but it's been a while since I read it.
