| Escef10-31-04, 11:50 AM | The base damage dice are rolled twice (my group just rolls once and doubles it). All flat bonuses to damage are doubled (strength, specialization, magic, etc.). Bonus damage dice are not doubled (sneak attack, flaming weapon, etc.). |
| Kessalin Talira10-31-04, 11:55 AM | Base weapon damage, and all non-dice modifiers, are multiplied. As an example: A fighter with a +1 flaming greatsword, and miscellaneous damage bonuses swings for 2d6+1d6 (fire)+9. When he crits, the flaming damage isn't multiplied, so he gets 4d6+1d6 (fire)+18. A 10th level rogue with a +1 shocking burst short sword that deals 1d6+1d6 shock+3 on a normal hit, flanks and hits for: 1d6+1d6 (shock)+5d6 (sneak attack)+3. The next round he attacks the still flanked opponent and crits. This time he deals: 2d6+1d6 (shock)+1d10 (shocking burst)+5d6 (sneak attack)+6 |
