In my current campaign, the party is accompanied by an NPC kobold wizard who chose to forsake the company of his fellow kobolds because his desire to actually understand the theoretical underpinnings of arcane magic put him at odds with mainstream kobold society, which views magic as just some mysterious gift that certain individuals are born with. |
| Pfisiar02-13-06, 06:54 PM | Excuse me, where in the PHB does it say that Sorcerers are outcasts or that Elves don't like sorcerers? If Sorcerers were inherently outcasts, then they couldn't be of any alignment. And Elves seem to favor the gentler aspects of chaos. So why would Elves reject a form of magic which is less ordered and more individualistic and more free? That makes no sense at all. |
