Custom Dice Bag [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-05-07, 05:09 PM I was looking for a place to find a custom dice bag. I just do not have enough time with work and college to make one myself and I thought that someone here might have an idea on where I might be able to acquire a good custom dice bag.

09-05-07, 05:16 PM There is always the typical Crown Royal bag that most gamers use.

I myself use the bag that came with the Naruto DVD set of the Village Hidden in the Leaves. Wasnt that great of a DVD set, but the bag is really cool, plus i got a headband with a stainless steel plate on it:D :) :( :rolleyes:

Other than that there are a few online retailers that sell dace bags and generally anywhere that sells things catered to rennosiance(sp) fairs have nice leather bags perfect for dice.

09-05-07, 08:39 PM A bit of advice: stay away from chainmail (unless it's lined, maybe). I made one, and it looked cool, but rubbing against the links was pretty hard on the dice.

09-05-07, 11:13 PM Googling "dice bags" came up with a few decent links. I was going to recommend The Gamers Bag, but it looks like they went away or at least lost their domain name. There ARE companies out there making dice bags to order.

I'll have to warn my cousin of that. He just showed me a chainmail bag he made last weekend. All he said he needed was a leather draw string. I guess he needs two things now :P

Personally, I use the ever-so-popular Crown Royal bag.

I won a custom-made one years back in a contest. The wife of the guy running made it. It is really cool to. Its red and black with a chinese dragon curving around. Its draw-string then have little miniature metallic dice dangling from it. The inside is silk.

09-07-07, 11:37 AM Try googling for tarot deck bags. They are tons out there and the ones with the double strings and lined are great for holding lots of dice and protecting them from scratches. Many places do allow for custom made bags.

09-07-07, 05:32 PM A few years ago, a friend bought me a leather pouch in a medieval shop. Even if it's not as big as a royal crown bag, it can hold up to 30 dices, which is more than enough for me

I think leather gives it a unique look (I haven't seen anyone else with a real leather dice bag) and plus, it gives a good smell to its content.

Man, I made my dice baggy in 20 minutes with some old cloth that was just lying around and the sewing kit I got from some hotel. Really, just fold it once, sex it trice and you're done.
