D&D 4.0 or whatever is next [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-24-05, 04:04 PM I am sure this has been posted some where before so sorry for the repeat.

Does anyone know when D&D 4.0 or whatever the next version is scheduled to be released?

I keep hesitating to buy the new books coming out because I don’t want to have to buy them all again when 4.0 is out.

Anyone hear anything or know where I can read up on it. I am not having any luck with web searches.

Once again, WotC HAS NOT announced any 4.0 edition. There is no talk of it. Anything you see is put out by rumormongers and trolls trying to stir up trouble.

Since there is no 4th edition in the product catalogs, it's not a Future release, therefore such topics don't belong on the board.
