My kids and I liked playing it very much but they are too young to get into all of the aspects of the game. I don't have the time to join a regular group of D&D players because I work shift work. Does anyone know? Any official word? |

| VFults03-25-05, 01:52 PM | The Basic game is a gateway product to lead younger players into the D&D rpg system. You might want to check out the D&D miniatures game; the rules should be easy enough for kids to play. Regards, V |

As for the map tiles, you could just draw some new ones to go with your adventure. If the kids are too young to learn lots of rules, but they enjoy playing some small adventures with simple rules, then that,s just great. The important thing is that they're having fun, and they get a taste of a great game that is not computer oriented. |

Otherwise roam ebay for a copy of the classic D&D game from the 80's. Even with all the bells and whistles, its still easy and straightforward. |
