Back in '04 I bought a copy of the D&D Basic Game for the minis and map tiles. Now, my sister-in-law and her boyfriend want to learn D&D. They are total newbs so I figure the Basic Game is a great starting point, and so I pulled out all my junk last night. Everything is acounted for except for the character sheets for the included PCs. Does anyone know if there is a place to legally download PDF copies of these?

Thanks.

Jayne,

I think you can find what you need here:

Hope this helps.

I think that Jayne may have meant the ones with the characters from the set detailed on them. (No, to that one by the way, sorry.)

If you know how to play just write your own. How hard is it to write up a Human Fighter, Elf Sorcerer, Dwarf Cleric, and Halfling Rogue? All you need to remember it to NOT split up skill points but have each character maximize whichever skills they take.

It's not hard, but I also gave a copy of the set to them as an Xmas gift and so would like to use the same PCs so they can continue with them on their own. I could, of course, simply ask them to bring their copies but I wanted to have the sheets ahead of time in order to plan out the adventure and also to make photocopies the players could write on.

I guess they are still in storage from when we moved or, Bog forbid, got tossed by accident in the move. Dang. :(

After tearing my place apart I finally found them…in a manilla envelope…with a bunch of old bills and takeout menus…in a bag…in a box…under the table…in my dining room… :uh-huh:

Thanks for trying, though, guys.

Help, I've opened my box of the 2004 Basic Game (yes, it's been gathering dust all this time) and I appear to have two sheets for the Regnar character, and none for Lidda (which I guess is the missing character's name, as she is mentioned in one of the booklets).
Does someone have this character sheet and if so, can you give me the data for Lidda?

Thanks,

Oh THAT basic set.
I thought you were talking about the one I got as a Christmas gift back in 1980 or so:
