02-16-06, 10:25 PM drivethrurpg.com (I believe) has a few. Most of them aren't available in PDF format, though - meaning the guy you saw either scanned them himself, or pirated them.

02-17-06, 03:23 AM I have every single book I own on PDF. I scanned it, used OCR on it, and also BookMarked them.

They are also all under 20mb in size, so I can fit everyone on a DVD.

Someone saw me useing them at a RPGA event, and remarked how nice it looked, since it was fully searchable and bookmarked. He offered to buy the DVD off me (I won't say for how much). But I refused, and still refuse to this day.

I actually have ruined lots of books, because to get a good OCR scan, with proper scanning techniques, you need to pretty much unbind the book, which ruins them in most cases.

(Of course I have taken printing, and can rebind books, but I am too lazy).

But all my PDFs are password protected and encrypted via NTFS. So if anyone ever steals them from me, they are out of luck.

02-17-06, 07:27 PM The books on PDF is just useful, but hardcover is more practicale. I'm surprised WoTC does't have more of there books on PDF? Do you think it's because of piracy and such?
