| The Vagrant10-09-04, 09:38 PM | Ok, a wizo practicing the arts of false topic headers and off topic discussions all in one thread... Truely a sad, sad world we live in. *stabs self but rolls a natrual 1, so it heals instead* |
| Wildonion10-09-04, 09:39 PM | Let me help you with that Vagrant! *Casts a maximized fireball on Vagrant dealing 60 fire damage* |
| Joni-san10-09-04, 09:46 PM | You also forgot Eberron, Kara-Tur (Fr Oriental Adventures) and Maztica (FR Mezo-America) Aren't false topic headers against the Code of Conduct? Shame on you, shaaaame! |

| Wildonion10-09-04, 10:39 PM | Don't Forget Wildonion World! Lol |
| Evil Bob10-10-04, 11:50 AM | Someone more familiar with these boards than me, tell me, is it customary to pretend to cast huge spells of doom on other posters? Just curious. |
| Wildonion10-10-04, 12:41 PM | Oh yes, very very common  |
| The Shaman10-10-04, 03:42 PM | Manifest (Ghostwalk). |
| ssampier10-10-04, 03:45 PM | It should be noted that are three official D&D "worlds" from Wizards of the Coast: Eberron Forgotten Realms Greyhawk (opinions differ on this one) Greyhawk is supported only by the RPGA via Living Greyhawk, including a LG journal article in either Dragon or Dungeon (was Dragon, may have switched to Dungeon). If you include all Dungeons & Dragons(R) licensed games: Kingdoms of Kalamar Warcraft |
| WWAD10-10-04, 05:05 PM | How could all this Wiz_O editing happen and somehow the sig line "...I realized he was fingering her during the moments his character wasn't doing anything. It gave a whole new meaning to the term dungeon crawl" slips right in there. |
| Wizard_Of_Arl10-10-04, 07:50 PM | oh yes that, well i got rid of that myself :twitch: and i dont really think of kingdoms of kalamar or warcraft as actual settings new revised list: Greyhawk Forgotten realms Dragonlance Ravenloft Dark Sun Birthright Planescape Mystara Red Steel Al-Qadim Dave Arnesons Blackmoor Spelljammer Eberron Kara-Tur Maztica Ghostwalk |
| D+110-10-04, 09:28 PM | Greyhawk Forgotten Realms, and subset campaign settings including: -Maztica -The Horde -Netheril -Cormanthyr -Bloodstone Lands (?) -Al-Quadim Kara-Tur (a.k.a. Oriental Adventures before it was incorporated to be part of FR) Ravenloft Planescape Mystara (The Known World), and subset settings: -Hollow World -Red Steel/Savage Baronies Birthright Dark Sun Dragonlance and various incarnations/updates: -Time of the Dragon -Second Edition/War of the Lance/Age of Heroes/4th Age -SAGA/5th Age/Age of Mortals -Taladas Spelljammer -Astromundi Cluster Blackmoor Lankhmar Then there are the 2E softcover sourcebook/settings: Glory of Rome Age of Heroes A Mighty Fortress Vikings Charlemagnes Paladins The Celts The Crusades And then we also have: Council of Wyrms Diablo Jakandor Ghostwalk (3E) Eberron (3E) Hyperborea (Conan) Tales of the Comet Thunder Rift You can give Honorable Mention to some that are not quite settings but for practical purposes they CAN be settings in their own right: Dragon Mountain Night Below Against the Giants Against the Slavers Temple of Elemental Evil Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil Undermountain Masque of the Red Death And then there are 3rd Party D&D settings; not released by WotC or TSR, but Officially Licensed: Kingdoms of Kalamar World of Warcraft |
| Zherog10-11-04, 07:59 AM | and i dont really think of kingdoms of kalamar or warcraft as actual settings Indeed, they are. They just aren't published by WotC. |
| amethal10-11-04, 10:25 AM | I suppose you could include Rokugan, since it is in the 3rd edition Oriental Adventures. Did anyone mention Planescape? What are your criteria for inclusion? 3rd edition Ravenloft is by White Wolf, so you might as well include their Scarred Lands, whereas 2nd edition Ravenloft was by TSR. If you want campaign worlds supported by Wizards of the Coast, then you can remove Greyhawk from your list <rest of post lost in a fit of sobbing> |
| Wizard_Of_Arl10-11-04, 01:10 PM | thank u d+1 and all who helped i can now start the list |
| Graz'zt, Prince of Shadow10-11-04, 01:11 PM | Greyhawk also includes The Sundered Empire on Western Oerik, the setting for the Chainmail minis game. |
| D+110-11-04, 07:00 PM | thank u d+1 and all who helped i can now start the listThat list of mine is of the WotC and TSR produced settings. It does not even begin to include settings produced by third party publishers. Given the sheer number of other publishers and the fact that their products just generally don't have the breadth of exposure as WotC products I specifically omitted them when I first compiled that list. But I do believe the list is complete (as far as it goes). |
