| darth_borehd01-17-07, 08:22 PM | Anybody get this yet? Is it any good? How did they do the stats of the main characters? Did they assign them prestige classes (Like [thief]-acrobat for Diana or Cavalier for Eric)? |
| High Octane01-18-07, 12:54 AM | They're all level 7 base classes. Eric is a fighter, Diana is a monk. And they statted their magic weapons. And Uni. I wont tell you any more since it may be against the CoC what I did already. |

I wont tell you any more since it may be against the CoC what I did already. Fair enough. What's your opinion of it? Would it be something you would buy separately or just a nice perk for getting the DVD set? Is it really a full campaign book, as in Forgotton Realms or Eberron? Is it on PDF or paper inserted in the case? |
| High Octane01-18-07, 01:14 AM | Its a tiny book inside the case. Its not impressive , only being about 15-20 small pages long. It has a small adventure for the crew which is uninspiring, and has the stats for Venger who doesnt appear in the adventure given. No its not a campaign setting. Nowhere NEAR that. Its a cute perk, but not a reason to buy the set any more than the free mini that comes with it. |
| Seeker9501-18-07, 09:32 AM | I bought it. I love it. Pure fun cheese. But I would have purchased the DVD set without the booklet as well. (I don't know if the booklet is available without the DVD set.) |
| Cainin01-18-07, 09:51 AM | It has the stats for the heroes (and a HD reduced Unicorn for Uni). There are also stats for Venger and his minion Shadow Demon. No stats are provided for anyone else (like Dungeon Master). Overall I liked the book. Each of the kids has a unique magic item that is well thought out and very useful, while not completely broken. Good for flavor and inspiration, but the small page count makes the book not really marketable as a seperate product. My one complaint with the book is the poor quality of the binding. Though the guts managed to stay together, the guts had already torn itself completely out of the binding before I even opened up the DVD box set. In a prior thread in the Future Release board, many chirped in and mentioned that the same ting happened to their books as well. |
