I'm starting to play D&D again with my son after a break of lots of years. With all the buzz surrounding 4E etc, I still love 3.5. ;)

But, I do find it difficult to browse the official WotC D&D site, the Gleemax thing, the forums etc. It's feels like it's all stitched together, and not one integrated design. The trouble I had finding the Dragon downloads is one example. You need to get used to the site. but even then it's not comprehensive. Also, when the 'news' items you see have a July date on them, it doesn't feel new anymore.

All this to ask if this will all be remodeled when 4E and/or Gleemax goes live? This is no rant against D&D, WotC or whatever, just an observation from someone who's been 'out' for a while.

Regards,
Merg (enjoying D&D again a lot!)

I think the forums are OK but I've always found the website difficult to navigate - too flashy, too image intensive and totally centred around guiding you toward new things to buy rather than the articles and support material (which is all I'm really interested in).

I even had trouble finding all the 4E preview articles in one place (which is about trying to sell something new, not that it's likely to work on me :-) ).
