03-30-08, 06:59 PM We've all heard the stories. Some of us have tried it ourselves. Sure, you can fold the 5-dollar bill to show the twin towers, the 20-dollar bill shows the destroyed twin towers, the 10-dollar bill shows the pentagon hit, and the 1-dollar bill shows an image of Professor Hawk (shoo-baddy-doo-baddy-doo!). The U.S. government contains dark secrets. But do any of you guys think that the makers of D&D have hidden similar things in the covers of books and articles?

So, the guy that plays Dr. Doom has a dead father who was not only a titled gentleman who served in a political post, but a mother who was equally titled. Sounds awfully medieval to me.

Pepsi owns Hasbro, that's why they make Mountain Dew For the gamers. Mountain Dew is a anagram for Team in wound. What does DnD typically have? Parties, (Teams) that go in to wound (Or kill) monsters. [Ok, that one pushing it....]

I could go on.....

I intended this thread for a bit of April Fool's day humor, like 4E. So it can be totally made up.

For example:

If you place a mirror on the cover of the PHB v.3.5, directly in the center of the logo, it says "Paul is Dead"

See? You can have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.

However, if you do have any true conspiracies, be sure to post them before the WizOs come after us. They've already posted once.

And remember, everyone: "THE NEW ORDER IS NOT GOOD FOR CASH BACK COUPONS"

If you open up the 3.0 DMG, and read between the lines, you'll find the hidden secret plans, "We've already planned for 3.5."

Actually, if you think about it, that kinda makes sense. If you take a look at the DnD homepage today, they coulda slapped it together in an hour or so. I wonder what they do in their spare time...
